M.Tech in Embedded Systems is a great course. As far as the choice between Bangalore and Coimbatore campuses is concerned, then without any doubt, Coimbatore campus is better between the two. Here are some details about the campuses.

Coimbatore Campus:

This course is offered by the Electrical and Electronics department. So if you are an electrical graduate, then it is better for you.
The department has very good lab facilities. There are various development boards and robotic kits which will help you increase your skills.
The faculty are very helpful and will help in every way both academically as well as publishing in your journals.

Bangalore Campus:

Here the course is offered by the Computer Science department. So if you are a CS graduate, then it is for you.
The labs, teaching experience, facilities, research opportunities, and exposure to the industry are also very good.

AVV Bangalore has a placement cell that organizes various training sessions. Students who are eligible and opted for placements have more than one job offer, on average. Placements are facilitated by enhancing industry-academia association through frequent visits, interactions with the top management and facilitation of Faculty Development Programs, Student Visits, Industrial Training, and Project Guidance under the Corporate Action Plan. The course and curriculum are really good, which makes you a better student. Here, the studies are through continuous assessments, which make you learn continuously. We have the best curriculum and faculty here.
Internships are the best, like part-time income. They will come for an interview and once hired, they will earn 45k per month. It is the best source of income.
Companies such as ORACLE, Google, and Microsoft will offer good packages to students by conducting placement examinations and interviews.
Fees will not be hiked, and the cost of studying is somewhat greater for middle-class students, which is so nice.
Amrita Teaching and Amrita Happiness Program will be in September on Ammas birthday. You can enjoy Amma, who is the founder and chairman of all the Amrita universities.
The hostel facility is very nice, but there is no non-veg allowed here, so it might be an issue for someone.
This College is affiliated with Vikram University Ujjain, which is the best University in Madhya Pradesh.

Dislike

I was struggling with the course structure a little, but they have changed the course. The evaluation pattern was not good when I joined. They gave a 50% weightage to internal exams. The focus on research was less compared to other colleges and other branches of Amrita.
No, the college didnt provide any internships. We just went for two industrial visits, even though those were not interesting.
The scholarship is very difficult for students to obtain by or before their 3rd year.
The number of boys was high in almost all departments. There were no hostel parties. We would go off campus for parties. I was not interested in sports, but the ground was too small and sports competitions were also scarce. There were only some extracurricular activities occasionally

Yes, there is an entrance exam which was conducted by the college on their own, and the eligibility to get admission to Amrita the student must have 60 percent of marks in PU MPC and also the application is available on their website or you can get an offline application while you are in 12th and the cost of the application is 2000 and one more benefit is there is an admission process where you can get a seat on bases of JEE Entrance rank.

I took the entrance exam. The exam is a total of 180 marks and the cut-off is 150 or above. it checks the 10th percentage and intermediate percentage. if you have less than 75 %in intermediate you are not eligible for this college

The admission process is done through an online exam conducted by the University called AEEE. The registration process can be found on the Amrita website. The cutoff usually is around like you are supposed to get a rank of 3000 or less to get admission in computer science. Also, you have to have above 80% in 12th. There is a special quota reserved for own state reservation. To do this course you have to be in the science stream. Admission fees also can be found on the website.

The admission process is nice. yes, I had taken the amrita school of engineering entrance exam. application fees are 1200 and if we need to again exam then 600 rupees only. there are reservations benefits also in amrita school of engineering like obc, sc, stif, oc got a 200 rank the school got a 2000 rank both are the same. so in this amrita school of engineering, there are reservation benefits. yes, we need to improve to see in the Admission process.
