B.Tech Application Process

Candidates can apply for B.Tech in offline as well as online modes. Here’s the detailed application process:

Online Process

• Visit the official website
• Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab on the menu bar.
• Choose ‘B.Tech’ from programs offered under ‘Bengaluru’.
• Click on ‘Online Registration’ under ‘How to Apply’ section.
• Click on ‘Apply Now’ and fill the form for registration.
• After filling the form, click on ‘I Confirm’ button and proceed to upload the photograph in the prescribed format.
• Pay the application fee on the next page.

Offline Process

• Candidates may obtain the OMR application form from select sale outlets including Post office, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Federal Bank by paying INR 1000 in cash.
• The OMR application form can also be collected from the admission office by submitting a Demand Draft of INR 1000 in favor of “Amrita School of Engineering”, payable at Coimbatore.
• The form can also be obtained via post from Admissions Coordinator, Amrita School of Engineering with a written request mentioning the candidates’ communication address, phone number and email id, along with a DD.
• For payment through DD, candidates must write “B.Tech. Application,” along with their name and mobile number at the back of the DD.
• After filling the application form with all requisite details, candidates must send the application form and DD (as applicable) via post to:

M.Tech Application Process

Those applying for M.Tech can do so in online and offline mode by the physical mailing of application. Follwoing is the detailed process:

Online Process

The online application for M.Tech is a 3-step process involving Registration, Submission of Academic Information and Payment. Here’s the step-wise process:

• Visit Amrita Online Admission Portal (AOAP).
• Click on “New User” for New User Registration.
• Enter your “Email ID” and proceed.
• On the registration screen, fill the form.
• Go to “Home Page- Notification tab” and click on “Apply Online”
• Click on the “Apply Online” of M.Tech.
• Choose Bangalore Campus preference and fill the academic qualification details.
• Pay the application fee of INR 960 via Debit/ Credit Card or Net Banking

Note: In case of payment through DD, candidates must download the application as PDF and send the printed application along with the DD to Bangalore campus.

Offline Process

• Application forms can be obtained by post from Admission Coordinator of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Bangalore on a written request with a DD.
• DD of INR 960 should be made in favor of “Amrita Institute of Engineering”, payable at Bengaluru.

MBA and MA Application Process

Candidates applying for MBA program may fill the online application form available on the official website. Here’s the detailed step-wise process:

• Visit Amrita Online Admission Portal (AOAP).
• Click on “New User” for New User Registration.
• Enter your “Email ID” and proceed.
• On the registration screen, fill the form.
• Go to “Home Page- Notification tab” and click on “Apply Online”
• Click on the “Apply Online” of MBA/ MA.
• Choose Bangalore Campus preference and fill the academic qualification details.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1000 for MBA or INR 500 for MA via Debit/ Credit Card or Net Banking.

Ph.D. Application Process

The applications for Ph.D. courses are invited in offline mode. Candidates can download the form from the official website of Amrita. Following are the steps to apply:

• Visit the official website.
• Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab on the menu bar.
• Choose ‘Ph.D.’ from programs offered under ‘Bengaluru’.
• Scroll down to ‘How to Apply’ section.
• Click on the link of “Application Form” and download it.
• Fill the form with all required details.

Note: Candidates are required to submit copies of his/ her degree certificates, marks sheets, a tentative research proposal and a Statement of Purpose wherein they must describe their research interests.
