IIST Trivandrum M.Tech. Selection Process

• Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech. Programmes offered by Departments of Aerospace Engineering, Mathematics, and M.Tech. in Digital Signal Processing, RF and Microwave Engineering and VLSI and Microsystems offered by Department of Avionics, will be shortlisted based on the valid GATE score. 
• An admission list would be prepared based on the rank list & an available number of vacancies & preference of the candidate.
• Candidates seeking admission in other M. Tech. programmes offered by Departments of Earth and Space Sciences, Chemistry, Physics and Avionics, will be shortlisted based on the valid scores of GATE exam.
• The applicants shortlisted for M.Tech. programmes will be required to appear for a written test and Interview.
• Interviews will be conducted through video conferencing.
• A list is prepared on the basis of GATE score, interview test score, number of vacancies & preferences given by the candidate.

The application process for the course are as follows:

• Applications are submitted in online mode only.
• Candidates need first complete the registration process using the valid email id. 
• Upload the scanned copies of all the relevant documents, photograph, and signature in the format specified.
• Select the desired course and fill up all the required details. 
• Once the registration is done, the challan is generated. 
• Download the Challan and take a print out of it. 
• The application fee for the M.Tech. programme is paid through online mode only.
