Its great to have such knowledgeable students, and its great to have enrolled in the college.
Well, its an IT college, so all internships are coding-based. Our colleges coding culture is excellent, which attracts many companies and gives students internships with a good stipend.
Placements in this college are mostly for the students of Mtech and Metre, and the students are offered great salaries.
The college offers MCM to merit students of the batch; they will have to apply based on their JEE ranks and will be selected for MCM.
Campus life is a great field to play on. The labs are open 24 hours, and you have a table tennis table, pool table, gym, and badminton court all inside your hostel.
The hostel fees are around 24000 per year, which is better than that of day scholars.
Here, seniors are very good; they help us when we are in any problem. We can talk to a senior about it, and they help us.

Dislike

During the time of placement, they arrange some extra training which is a little better than the actual training and all.
As it is IIIT, almost all people will get placed in one or the other company.
There is diversity in culture, as it is a national institute and there is no reservation for home state students.
There are hardly any PGs near our college, at least 7-8 km away from the college.
Considering there are a few branches, the population of the college is slightly lower when compared to other NITs.

To be admitted to this college firstly you should qualify for JEE mains with a decent rank of 12000 To get such kind of rank your percentile must be greater than 98.9 percentile. Here you should take admission through reservation quota also For OBC if you get 98.2 or 98.3 percentile in JEE mains then you are able to get into this college. A similar kind of reservation also works for SC and ST.

IIITM- the good and the bad

The eligibility for a general candidate is that they have taken science in 11th and 12th and have passed. Admission is through JoSSA counseling, and one has to appear and secure 90+%ile to participate in it. The cutoff for general students was 98.5%ile>= for the 2022 batch. The admission process was seamless.

An Insight into IIITM GWALIOR

One has to clear and score decent percentile in JEE MAINS Examination, and one has to apply through the JOSAA Portal to take admission here. A score of 98.5%ile is enough to take admitted here. The application form is provided after the JOSAA Counselling sessions are over and the college administration asks to report on campus, for fees you can visit the website of the college. With different reservation quotas, you can expect a decrease in the ranks of the JEE MAINS. This college already has a decent way of admission process and I don't there is a need for any improvement.

Admission was given on the basis of Jee main entrance test or DASA for foreign students. Talking about jee mains, admission is held through Jossa counselling in which candidates fill out the college according to their options and admission is given on the basis of the highest rank of filled choices of the institute. Reservation of ST, SC, OBC and female candidates matters in the admission most. Application forms, fee structure, and dates will be available on the college website. The improvement we want in the admission process is to remove reservation criteria during admission.

Yes, you have to give JEE mains as an entrance test. You must have gotten AIR less than 12k or more than 98.8 percentile. The application form is of jee mains with an application fee of 1600. There are so many reservation benefits, you can get this college at 60000 ranks if you are in SC/ST category.

A Tour on ABV-IIITM Gwalior

You can take admission in the course by securing good rank in JEE MAINS Exam. If you clear the cutoff of the JEE then you can take admission in the course by reporting in the college. College doesn't provide any form earlier. You asked to come to the institute then they give you the form for filling. The academic calendar is also told before reporting to the college. There are reservation scheme as provided in JOSAA Counselling for SC category. There are no improvements needed in admission process.

I gave JEE mains and secured 91.83 percentile and AIR of 73324, My SC category rank was 2993 and my closing rank for IIIT Gwalior Btech[IT] + MBA 5 years course was 3445 something so I took admitted over here to study IT as CS avg package over here is 25 LPA+, and I can even opt for exit option after 4 years of btech
