Very good hostel life we have wifi facilities in our hostel
Very good night life and nice quality of food in night canteen
Infrastructure is really good, And cleanliness is well maintained as Indore is the cleanest city of India.
Professors are very supportive and faculty advisors help in any problem.
We get to choose our own side whether to go in core or noj core and we can plan on that.

Dislike

Wifi is not very good , It's really difficult to find mobile network signals until you have airtel.
Mess food - quality is not good, caterers are not fixed, food taste bad too.
Also some time i feel alone in campus becuase of big size and less student
Iit indore is too far from the city and it usually takes a couple of hours plus change in transprt to reach there.
The institute had single rooms till last year but now rooms with double occupancy is provided.

I like electrical from the beginning and the placement is also good in the electrical branch. all teachers are Ph.D. holders and very good at teaching, teachers are very supportive and there are a total of 8 semesters in 4-year b.tech course.

IIT Indore: The best 2nd Generation IIT

I chose Electrical Engineering as it is really a very interesting domain to study in all aspects (tech/ research/ start-ups/ innovation etc). Moreover, the placement opportunities for BTech students are ample. A student can get an easy placement in the domains of Core Electronics and Software. The course curriculum is highly diverse and we get a lot of good things to study. Faculty-to-student ratio=> 1:11 Highly qualified Professors with diverse experience and research backgrounds. All the professors have a Ph.D. at minimum. After this, they did a post-doc and a lot of research to become proof at IIT. In fact, many professors themselves are alumni of IIT and IIS.

The Btech is of 4 Years having 8 semesters. The first year use to be very general rather than specific in later semesters. The 3rd year allows internship programmes and 4th yr gives you a job. The faculty is too helpful.

I want to make my career in engineering and IIT Indore seems a well-developed and structured college to me. Also, I had a keen interest in electrical So I choose this course. All faculties here are super qualified and completed their p.h.ds from reputed colleges. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:10. We have mid-term and end-term exams every semester and two semesters in a year. The course is a total of 8 semesters meaning 4 years. The academic pressure is lite, and we can easily score well in the normal day-to-day study. Relative scoring is done in every subject.

After 2 months a mid sem exam is happening and after that, you have to give an end sem exam.. apart from this many quizzes are also taken. Assignments and labs in every 3 days .. so you have to face some difficulty managing time.
