IIT Indore in association with IIM Indore has introduced an MSc in Data Science and Management program. With a total seat intake of 200, the program is offered for 2 years in online mode. Also, a fee of INR 12 Lakhs for Indian participants and INR 15.6 Lacs for international participants is charged for the entire program. Additionally, the program consists of a total of 900 hours of learning spanning 14-15 hours per week of live lectures. Students under this program will be benefited from the faculty of both institutes.
To become eligible for the 2 years Online MSc Data Science program, the interested candidates must fill the following criteria and requirements before applying.
The initial shortlisting of the candidates is done based on their applications submitted. The institute further calls the shortlisted candidates for an interview. However, the final admission will be granted to the candidates based on their performances in the interview.
IIT Indore offers a two-year M.Sc program with the provision of converting to MSc + PhD (dual degree) at the end of the 3rd Semester. The program is being offered in five specializations, namely, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biotechnology, and Astronomy. If a student chooses to opt for M.Sc+Ph.D. after the third semester, they will earn a degree in both M.Sc and Ph.D.
For admission to the program, candidates need to appear for the IIT JAM entrance examination.
Note: Students need to maintain a certain CGPA fixed by the institute in order to be eligible for M.Sc+Ph.D. after the third semester.
Selection of the candidates is done through the IIT JAM counseling process in which four rounds of admission are conducted. Seats are allocated on the basis of scores obtained in the JAM entrance test, choice filling, availability of seats, categories, and other factors.

IIT Indore doesn’t directly offer an MBA program. Instead, they provide a Master of Science in Data Science and Management programme (MSDSM), in collaboration with IIM Indore. The MBA interview questions are tailored for each candidate but generally focus on general background, strengths & weaknesses, motivation for joining the program, and future goals.
To be considered for the personal interview, the candidates have to score above a certain threshold as decided by the committee. The shortlisted candidates are then called for a personal interview. It is conducted by a joint committee with expert members from both IIT Indore and IIM Indore.
