I chose Chemical Engineering for research and development. It's a good course here, you can easily get placement and get more knowledge. All faculties are good they teach very crystal clearly and exams happen per semester two exams. To pass the exam needs to read properly the particular subject.
I choose Chemical engineering because of I have a good intrest in the field of chemistry and chemical and also I want placed in a industrial sector for a permanent job.About the faculty, they are very sincere and highly skilled about their passion, also qualification of faculty members are so high from Different IITs,NITS,etc.
As I have an interest in the research, I chose chemical engineering as there is a good opportunity in higher studies as well and the chance of getting a job at PSU is quite easy compared to other branches. The course is up to the mark but the lab facilities here are lacking a bit. The teacher to student ratio is 25:1 in every class a mentor is who is a teacher for a group of 25 students I have to say that all the facilities here are very highly qualified most of them have completed their education from IIT or NIT. Each semester has a total of 4 months of time. The exam questions are moderate.
