LPU LLM Course

LPU Master of Legislative Law (LLM) program is a 1 year academic course with 2 semesters. In this program, a student can get an overview of the Jurisdiction & constitution. Students also gain knowledge about law in depth. Lovely Professional University provides the theoretical as well as practical experience of law practice. The LLM course provides a student to acquire knowledge on law & regulation, Jurisdiction system and analysis of case laws in detail. Master of Legislative Law encourages a law graduate for research orientation and prominent teaching career.

LPU LLM Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must fulfill the basic eligibility criterias:

• Applicants must pass with 50% aggregate marks in LL.B.
• 5% relaxation in the score can be given to North-East states and Sikkim Candidates/Defence personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
• 10% relaxation on the score can be offered to the outstanding sportspersons.

LPU LLM Selection Criteria

• The candidates are required to appear for CLAT or LPUNEST 2024.
• Merit prepared with 70% weightage to LPUNEST (LLM) and rest 30% will be equally distributed on the basis of work experience, publications and statement of purpose.

LPU LLM Admission 2024

Admission for Master of Legislative Law (LLM) is through counselling based on marks obtained in LPUNEST. Aspirants have to fill out the application form on the official website of the University before the deadline choosing LLM course. Screening process of the applications will be done from the university. Shortlisted candidates will get an invitation from university for counselling and interview for that course. Follow the below metioned steps to apply for LPU LLM course:

Step 1 – Sign Up

• Register onto LPU ADMIT with basic details such as Name, Mobile No., Email ID, Password, State, Gender. Email ID will act as username for the portal and password will be set by Candidate while registering on the portal.
• Candidate will get a mail on his/her registered email id regarding this.
• Login to the LPU ADMIT with already created username/password.

Step 2 – Apply for LPUNEST (Eligibility & Scholarship Test)

LPUNEST is an online test which acts as a gateway to program you are interested in. Admission in this program is done based on performance in LPUNEST. In addition, LPUNEST also act as Scholarship test and student can avail huge scholarship based on performance in this test.

• Deposit the test fee:
  • Cost of Application form and Soft copy of LPUNEST Kit is INR 1000 (for Boys) and INR 500 (for Girls).
  • Cost of Application form and Printed LPUNEST Kit is INR 1500 (for Boys) and INR 1000 (for Girls).
• Fill the test application form.

Step 3 – Book the Exam Slot and Appear in LPUNEST

• Book the slot to appear in the test.
• Appear and qualify the test.

Step 4 – Result

• Get your scorecard/ rank.
• Download the allotment letter and proceed for admission within 7 days after declaration of result.

Step 5 - Admission

• Deposit initial payment of INR 10,000. After the successful realization of the payment:
  • A Unique Provisional Registration No. will be generated and sent to your registered Email ID.
• Upload the documents.
  • Recent Photograph
  • Matriculation Marksheet
  • Qualifying exam Certificate/ Marksheet
  • Address Proof
• Apply for residential / mess / transportation / parking facility as per the requirement.
• All the submitted documents are to be verified from the originals within the prescribed timelines.
• Deposit the balance fee within the timelines prescribed by the university.
