Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) is inviting applications for admission to its BBA program. 

SMU BBA Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates who wish to seek admission for BBA program offered at Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) shall have fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

• • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any relevant stream.
  • 5% relaxation is given to SC / ST candidates.

• Must have proficiency in English.

BBA Fees:

A. General(GEN), North East (NE), Defence (DEF), Paramilitary Force (PMF) & GTA Category (Yearly Fee):

• Lump sum: Rs. 1,28,000
• Instalments
  • First: Rs. 66,500
  • Second: Rs. 66,500

B. Sikkim Quota: 20% of the seats are reserved for candidates selected by Govt. of Sikkim, with concession of 75% of the Tuition fee. The fee structure after concession of Sikkim Quota are as follows (Yearly Fee):

• Lump sum: Rs. 64,100
• Instalments
  • First: Rs. 33,300
  • Second: Rs. 33,300

Note:

• The course fee will remain same for subsequent years. However, Caution Deposit (Refundable after completion of course) of Rs. 5,000/- which is not included in above table is to be paid at the time of admission along with applicable course fees
• Course Fee includes Tuition fee, laboratory fee, exam fees and other fees.

SMU BBA Admission Guidelines

The selection criteria for Admissions to the BBA program is based on the candidate’s performance in their qualifying examination followed by the counselling session.

SMU BBA Course Details 

Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) offers full-time BBA program in 9 specializations for the duration of 3 years. Tabulated below are the details of the specialization offered in BBA program of SMU:

Course Duration: The minimum duration of SMU BBA program is 3 years divided into 6 semesters of 6months each. However, the duration of BBA program can be extended up to 5 years equally divided into 10 semesters. 

• Candidates are also required to undergo a summer training program at the end of fourth semester.

Prescribed Coursework:

• Each Semester has 16 weeks of course completion period and two weeks of examinations.
• BBA course is offered in Internal assessment is taken from time to time to access the growth of the students.
• In the 5th and 6th Semester, students have to select three subjects each from two specialisations and two core subjects.
• It is compulsory to gain 36 credits out of 48 to be eligible for the promotion to next semester.
• For promotion from second to the third year, the student must secure 76 points out of 96.
