Master of Education [M.Ed] From Alagappa University, Karaikudi

Alagappa University M.Ed admission 2023 is open now. The last date to apply is May 10, 2023. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website – alagappauniversity.ac.in. Admission to the M.Ed program will be based on scores obtained in the entrance test conducted by the university. Entrance test for the M.Ed program will be conducted on May 21, 2023.

Alagappa University M.Ed Eligibility Criteria

A candidate applyiong to the M.Ed. program at Alagappa University must have a B.Ed. degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. For reserved categories, i.e. BC/MBC/SC/ST, the minimum percentage required in B.Ed. is 50%. Candidates who are appearing in their final year/semester or are awaiting their final result are also eligible to apply. 

Alagappa University M.Ed Admission Criteria

The selection  will be based on performance in entrance exam conducted by the University and marks scored in the B.Ed. degree. The question will be objective type in nature. The duration of exam is two hours. The Entrance Test will be conducted at Alagappa University Campus, KARAIKUDI only.

Required documents at time of Admission

The selected candidate shall submit the following original certificates at the time of admission to the Heads of University Department concerned.

• Original Cumulative Marks statement/Grade Certificate
• Provisional Certificate
• Transfer Certificate
• Community Certificate for verification
• Medical fitness certificate
• Two Passport size photos along with Rs.5/- Stamped envelope

How to apply?

You can apply for M.Ed. programs only in the offline mode only. You can obtain the application form by post, by person or can download from the official website of the university. 

Application Fee:

For General Candidates: INR 600/-

For SC/ST Candidates: INR 300/-

How to obtain application form?

There are two following methods to obtain the application form:

• By person/post: You can obtain the Application form from the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi – 630003 on requisition along with a demand draft for INR 600/- (INR 300/- for SC/ST applicants on submission of a photocopy of Community certificate) drawn in favour of “THE REGISTRAR, ALAGAPPA UNIVERSITY” payable at Karaikudi by post or in person.
• Download from Website: You can download application form from the official website of Alagappa University in which case, the cost of application form should be sent by way of demand draft while submitting the filled-in application form

You should submit the filled in application form with necessary certificates to the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi during the office hours 10am -5.45 pm or send by post to the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi – 630003
