Allahabad University BA Eligibility Criteria

A candidate desirous of getting admission into BA must have passed 10+2 with the relevant subject from a recognized board.

Allahabad University BA Admission Guidelines

Admission to BA program will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA. The Merit list for counseling and admission to all courses will be operationalized by the Coordinator CUET -2023 (Nodal Officer of NTA).

Allahabad University BA Entrance Exam Pattern

Admission to BA course is strictly based on the CUET scores followed by counseling. The entrance test will consist of 3 sections. First is language, the second is “Domain-specific topics”, and the third one is general knowledge. Details are as follows:

  • English or Hindi is compulsory for all students seeking admission to the University of Allahabad under the compulsory Language section 1A of CUET.
  • Candidates are required to appear in at least two (02) domain-specific subjects of section-2 of CUET. Available subjects are as follows:

    • Psychology

    • History
    • Geography
  • In section III of CUET, candidates will have to appear for a general test.
