Amity University Lucknow Admission 2024: Dates, Courses, Eligibility Criteria, Selection

Minimum Eligibility for admission to B.Tech programs is to pass HSC (10+2) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech courses have to sit for JEE Main/Amity JEE entrance exam. Direct admission is also granted provided that student secure 80% aggregate in Class XII.

For admission to B.Arch and B.Pharm courses candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. For admission to B.Arch course candidates have to have a valid NATA score card. Selection to B.Pharm. are based on test and interview by university both conducted on the same day.

• For all the courses candidates have to undergo English Language test.
• Only those candidates who have done HSC in regular mode are eligible for B.Tech program.

Amity University offers admission to its UG courses in management, science, arts, law to candidates who have passed Class XII examination with minimum 55% aggregate in marks.

Selection to these courses is based on merit i.e. marks secured in HSC by the candidate and interview and English language test conducted by the university. 5% relaxation is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST category in the qualifying exam.

Note: Creative test for bachelor’s program in design will be conducted by the university on the day of interview.

Amity University, Lucknow offers M.Tech and M.Sc courses in six disciplines and M.Pharm in three disciplines. Candidates seeking admission in these courses must have passed graduation in relevant stream.

Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech courses must have valid GATE score card. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Selection to M.Pharm. and M.Sc are based on the merit list of the qualifying exam/ University exam and interview.

• Relaxation of 5% is given to SC/ST candidates in eligibility criteria.
• English language test is compulsory is for all courses.

Amity University offers plethora of PG courses in various specializations. MBA course in six disciplines. To be eligible to apply in any course, candidate should have master’s degree in relevant discipline while satisfying minimum aggregate criteria.

Final selection of applicants will be based on merit in qualifying exam, English language test and interview both conducted by university on the same day. MBA applicant should have cleared any of CAT/ CMAT/XAT/MAT University level exam. Selection to MBA is also based on merit i.e. marks secured in graduation by the candidate, GD and interview.

Amity University, Lucknow offers Ph.D. programs twice a year, for January and July sessions. Eligibility for Ph.D. courses is that candidate should have done Master’s degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks.

Selection to the Ph.D. courses is based on Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the University itself. Candidate can choose the date of PET according to their choice. PET shall be of one and half hour duration and of 70 marks consisting of 95 objective types of questions. The Entrance Test will have two Sections - General, Program Specific.

Key Points:

• For candidates belonging to SC/ST category eligibility criteria is relaxed by 5%.
• Ph.D. full-time is for minimum three-year and Ph.D. part-time for minimum 4 ½ years. Maximum duration in case of both the mode is six-year.
