GLA University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria 

The rudimentary requirement to be eligible for various Ph.D. courses of GLA University is having a Master's degree in a relevant discipline.

For Ph.D. in Biotechnology and Immunology, Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, the minimum marks requirement is 55%. However, for all other Ph.D. courses, at least 60% marks in the Master's level is mandatory.

Additionally, students need to qualify either the Ph.D. entrance test of GLA University or standardized tests conducted by various central bodies such as UGC or CSIR.

Students who have qualified for a national level Ph.D. eligibility examination are eligible for scholarships from various central bodies.

Students who do not have a central fellowship, are eligible for a Teaching Assistantship grant of INR 25,000 per month. The amount of the grant is the same for all disciplines.
