IFTM University established in 1996, offers a Ph.D. program across various disciplines such as Pharmacy, Education, Computer Science, and Engineering, Chemistry, Management Studies, Commerce, Law, Sociology, Botany Mathematics, Library & Information Science, Physics, Zoology, Biotechnology, English, Economics, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Journalism and Mass Communication, Agriculture Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Hindi, Geography. 

• Admission to the Ph.D. program of IFTM University is based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination conducted by the university. The candidates who have already qualified the UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE (Valid)/GPAT (Valid)/Teacher Fellowship of UGC holder/M. Phil will be exempted from the Entrance Test.
• To be eligible for the admissions, candidates must have to complete their post-graduation in a relevant stream with a minimum of 60% marks as an aggregate.

IFTM University Ph.D. Admission Guidelines

• The applicant must qualify for the Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by the University. The Entrance Test will consist of
• Written test based on the knowledge of research methodology and 50% subject-specific.
• Interview conducted by the committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor for the concerned subject. The test result will be based on the total score in the written test and interview. The result will be displayed on the University website within a week.
• The candidates who have already qualified the UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE (Valid)/GPAT (Valid)/Teacher Fellowship of UGC holder/M. Phil will be exempted from the Entrance Test.

Application Procedure

• The University will invite the applicants for admissions in Ph.D. programs through national-level advertisement and their official website.
• The admissions will be given with the number of seats available in each subject in the concerned academic year.
• The admission process will be carried out once a year but may decide to carry out the admission process twice a year depending upon the University’s goals and needs.
• The candidate seeking admission to the Ph.D. program should download the admission form from the official site of the University. The form should be submitted within a specified time along with the required documents and the prescribed fee for the entrance fee.
