Noida International University - [NIU], Greater Noida - Scholarship Details

NIU Regular Scholarship 

All students pursuing courses at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels from NIU are eligible to apply for NIU Regular Scholarship. NIU Regular Scholarship is only applicable to Tuition Fees for First Year. This scholarship Scheme is not applicable for 1 year Diploma & Short Term Programs, Research Programs, Nursing, GNM, and LLM.

Further, NIU Regular Scholarships are categorized into the following:

• Freedom Fighters Scholarship: If the candidate is a Son/ Daughter or Grandson /Granddaughter of Freedom Fighters, a 20% concession in Tuition Fee is awarded to them. This is applicable to Indian Students only.
• Defense Scholarship: If the candidate is a Son/Daughter of Armed / Para-Military Forces / State Police, he/she is eligible for a 20% concession in Tuition Fee. This is applicable to Indian Students only.
• Disability Scholarship: A 20% concession in the Tuition Fee is given to the student who is 50% physically impaired. 
• Employee Scholarship: If the candidate is Son/Daughter/Spouse of a University Employee, Staff pursuing higher studies, a 20% concession in Tuition Fee is awarded to them till the staff is in service for 1st Year only.
• Sibling Scholarship (for Blood Relations Only): A 20% concession in the Tuition Fee is given to only one candidate. 
• Existing Student: A 20% concession in the Tuition Fee for the first year is given to the existing student only if he has scored 60% or above. 
• Scholarship for Women: A 20% concession in the Tuition Fee to all women undertaking admission in UG & PG programs. 

NIU CUET Scholarship

NIU offers scholarships to students on the basis of CUET (Common University Entrance Test) Score and 12th percentile. NIU CUET Scholarship is applicable only on the first-year Tuition Fees. After that candidates are eligible to avail of Merit Scholarships depending upon their academic records.

NIU Thakur Pratap Singh Memorial Scholarship 

NIU Thakur Pratap Singh Memorial Scholarship is applicable to the meritorious students availing of Undergraduate programs at NIU. 

• A 100% Scholarship is given to scholars who must have scored 95% and above in their 10+2 examinations. 
• NIU Thakur Pratap Singh Memorial Scholarship is awarded to both Indian and international candidates. 

NIU Merit Scholarship

NIU offers Merit Scholarships for students to encourage them to channel their full potential on academic grounds. These scholarships are awarded at the end of each year and can be renewed thereafter purely on the basis of academic performance. 

Detailed information on NIU Merit Scholarships is as follows:

Important Note: 

• One branch of NIU has a maximum of 10% of the intake in the case of the NIU Merit Scholarship.
• A candidate must have passed all examinations in one go without any re-appearing examination and grace marking. 
• The strength of the branch shall not be less than 30 for merit and the candidate must maintain 75% attendance.

NIU Sports Scholarship 

NIU Sports Scholarship offers various scholarship opportunities for students who are skilled in the fields of sports. 

• The management has the right to withdraw this scholarship without any prior notice. 
• NIU Sports Scholarship is applicable only on Government Sponsered Tournaments.
• Students can avail of this scholarship at the time of admission or in the year of achievement.
• For the Renewal of this scholarship, a candidate must have a promoted certificate and achievement in their respective year of study.

NIU Special Scholarship for Women

Besides, providing the above-mentioned scholarships, NIU has launched special scholarships for women where female candidates are awarded a 20% fee concession only on the Tuition Fee for pursuing any course except Diploma, Ph.D, and Medical Programs from NIU. NIU believes in women's empowerment and wants them to move side by side with men.
