IIT Roorkee offers the five-year B. Arch. program comprises courses divided into five distinct areas namely: Institute Core, Programme Core, Programme Elective Courses, Open Elective Courses, co-curricular/extracurricular activities.
Students are allowed to select courses from other departments in different semesters and years so as to complete 20 credits required to fetch them additional certification in terms of Minor Specialization in other disciplines.
B.Arch aspirants can also avail IIT Roorkee Scholarships if they have excelled in their qualifying examination.

IIT Roorkee BArch Eligibility Criteria

Students must have secured at least 75% aggregate in Class XII (or equivalent) Board examination. (65% for SC, ST and PwD candidates) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in Board examination.
Students must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
For B.Arch students are required to appear for AAT conducted under JEE Advanced or appear for NATA.

B.Tech admissions are done on the basis of 10+2 Board exams along with JEE Mains & JEE Advanced based on which a merit list is prepared to shortlist candidates.
Students must also register themselves for JoSAA through which Counselling is conducted for eligible candidates.
