Sabarmati University BBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed HSC (10+2) from a recognised board with any subjects.
• They should have attained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in 10+2.

Selection Criteria

Admissions are merit based on the basis of marks scored by candidates in qualifying degree, group discussion and personal interview.

The University offers various courses at UG Level namely BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, B.Ed, BA B.Ed and LLB. The specialisations, duration, eligibility criteria and selection criteria for these courses are given in the table below.

UG Admission Eligibility Criteria

• For BA courses, a candidate is required to have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
• For B.Sc courses, candidates should have passed 10+2 with science subjects from a recognised board.
• For B.Com courses, candidates must have studied and passed 10+2 with commerce subjects.
• For BCA, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Maths or Statistics as one subject.
• For BA B.Ed, any candidate who has passed 10th std from a recognised board can apply.
• For B.Ed and LLB courses, candidates must have graduation in any field with minimum 50% marks from a recognised University.

UG Admission Selection Criteria

• Candidates willing to take admission in any of these courses need to submit an application form with relevant details.
• For all the courses, admission will be merit based on the basis of marks scored in qualifying examinations.
• Candidates selected on the basis of marks will be called for Group Discussion followed by personal interview.
• Final selection will be done on the basis of performance in GD and PI.

Sabarmati University MBA Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates who have completed Graduation in any field in any relevant field from any recognized University are eligible to apply for MBA.
• Candidates are required to have minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Selection Criteria

Admissions are merit based on the basis of marks in qualifying degree followed by group discussion and personal interview.

Following courses are offered by the University at the PG Level namely MA, M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, MSW, PGDCA. The details including duration, specialisation, eligibility criteria, selection criteria are given below in the table.

PG Admission Eligibility Criteria

• For MA and PGDCA courses, candidates must have a graduation degree in any field from a recognised University.
• For M.Sc courses, candidates must have a graduation degree in a specialised course from a recognised University.
• For M.Com, any candidate having B.Com degree from a recognised University is eligible to apply.
• For MCA, candidates with any of PGDCA AND BCA degrees can apply.
• For MSW, candidates must have studied and passed BSW during graduation from a recognised University.

PG Admission Selection Criteria

• Candidates willing to study these courses need to submit an application form available on the website.
• Admission will be merit based on the basis of marks scored in qualifying degree which will be followed by group discussion and personal interview.

Sabarmati University offers admission into Masters of Philosophy/ Doctor of Philosophy into different departments.

Students are admitted into different categories:

• Full Time
• Sponsored
• Project Fellow
• Part Time

Sabarmati University M.Phil/Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

For M.Phil

• Candidates should have a minimum of 55% marks in master’s degree or any equivalent examination from a recognised University.
• A relaxation of 5% marks is offered to students belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ PWD categories.

For Ph.D

• Candidates with Master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognised University are eligible to apply.
• Candidates with NET/SLET/M.Phil are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates can also qualify through the Research Entrance Aptitude Test conducted by Sabarmati University.
• Members of ICAI/ICMAI/ ICSI or equivalent foreign professional body with not less than 60% marks in graduation are also eligible to apply.

Sabarmati University M.Phil/Ph.D Selection Criteria

• Candidates whose application will be approved will be required to appear for the Research Entrance Aptitude Test (REAT).
• Those who will qualify the entrance examination will be called for a Personal Interview.
• Candidates qualified in UGC-NET or similar qualifications or those having M.Phil will be required to appear for Personal Interview only.
• Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Personal Interview.

How to Apply?

Candidates need to follow the given steps to apply for Ph.D course

1. Candidates need to visit the official website of Sabarmati College.
2. On the website, under Programs section -> M.Phil/ Ph.D, you can find M.Phil/Ph.D ordinances at the end of which application forms are given.
3. Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling the application form.
4. Candidates should fill the application form given in (form I-A/I-B).
5. Candidates belonging to Sponsored, Part time and Project Fellow categories must attach sponsorship certificate in the format given in form III & IV.
6. Candidates are also required to attach the copies of all the required documents.
7. Complete application form should be sent to CoE, Sabarmati University, before the last date specified to complete the application process.
