Duration: Candidates are required to complete the programme in a minimum of 3 years and maximum of 5 years time duration.

Admission Process

The selection of candidates to the Ph.D. programme is done on the merit formed by comprising the following aspects:

1. Written test
2. Interview
3. Previous academic performance

• Written test:

The written test is conducted by the University to evaluate knowledge of the candidate in the research subject.

• Interview:

Interview is conducted by the team of experts formed by the University to check the presentation skills of the candidate.

• Previous academic performance

University also considers the marks scored by the candidates in their previous qualification i.e. graduation and post graduation for making the selection.

NOTE:

Candidates can get the pattern of presentation to be made in the interview process from the University website. Merit for the selection of candidates is made on the following scenario:

1. Written test- 30%
2. Interview- 30%
3. Graduation-15%
4. Post graduation- 25%

Application Process

Online mode:

• Candidates can apply for the programme through online mode by going to the university website.
• Fill in the details asked in the form, select YES or NO in the column of documents which is required to be submitted. If the asked document concerns you then select YES otherwise NO.

NOTE: Selected documents along with the Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favour of ‘MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences’ payable at Bangalore are to be send to the University.

User facts:

• The sections like Student Visa, Migration certificate, passport or any other such details asked in the form, if not applicable to the candidate should be marked as NO.

• Candidates are required to keep the Demand Draft ready at the time of filling the application form.

Offline mode:

To submit the form through offline mode, candidates are required to download the form from the University website, fill the required details and send it to the University along with the documents and a Demand Draft of INR 1000 drawn in favour of ‘MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences’ payable at Bangalore.
