Rayat Bahra University, Ropar Campus Admission 2024: Courses, Eligibility, Fee, Application, Selection Process

Ropar Campus of Rayat Bahra University offers B.Tech in 5 specializations and B.Pharm courses at the UG level. B.Tech and B.Pharm Lateral Entry program is also available for Diploma holders.

The basic eligibility for B.Tech and B.Pharm course is a pass in 10+2 with minimum 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as subjects. The candidate seeking admission for B.Tech and B.Pharm (Lateral Entry) program should have a Diploma in Engineering and Pharmacy respectively with minimum 50% marks.

Admission to B.Tech is based on the valid score in JEE Main or PU CET. B.Arch admission is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.

• 85% of the seats are filled through the state quota and the remaining 15% are filled through the All-India quota.

Candidates seeking admission to any of the courses should have completed HSC (10+2) with minimum 45% marks. Admission to these courses is done directly in the university and is based on the merit in the qualifying examinations.

Ropar Campus provides 2-year, full-time M.Sc., M.Ed, LLM., courses at the PG level. Aspirants for the courses should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.

Admission to these courses is based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and the process of admission is conducted by the university.

• Final year UG appearing students can apply for the relevant PG Courses, however, they have to satisfy the minimum eligibility % till the last qualifying Semester of Year.
• PG courses in the University are approved by the I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.

Rayat Bahra Ropar offers M.Tech in 3 specializations and is offered on both full-time and part-time basis. M.Pharm in 3 specializations with an intake of 15 seats per discipline. There are 120 seats allowed for admission in MBA program.

The basic eligibility for M.Tech is a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant field with 55% marks. For M.Pharm, a B.Pharm degree with minimum 55% marks is required. For MBA admission, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in any field from a recognized university.

Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of valid score in GATE. MBA admission is based on the valid score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT. Admission to M.Pharm will be granted on the basis of score in GPAT.

Ropar Campus of Rayat Bahra University also offers Diploma course in Engineering and Pharmacy. Diploma in Engineering is offered in 6 disciplines, the University has approved an intake of 600 seats. It also provides Diploma in Pharmacy with 60 seats.

The eligibility for Diploma in Engineering courses is 10th pass from a recognized State/ National Board. For D.Pharm admission, the candidate should have completed 10+2 with English, Physics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects and Mathematics/Biology as one of the subjects from a recognized board.

Admission is based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examinations. The admission process is conducted by the university.
