IIIT Sri City Courses Admissions 2024: Cutoff, Dates, Eligibility, Application Process

IIIT Sri City offers a 4-year full-time B.Tech program in two major specializations, namely, Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). The institute has a total intake of 200 students in CSE and 70 in ECE. Candidates Are required to appear in JEE Main entrance examination in order to get admission to the course.

IIIT Sri City B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech program at IIIT Sri City, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and have a minimum aggregate of 60%.

IIIT Sri City B.Tech Selection Criteria

Selection of the candidates will be done through the JoSAA/CSAB counselling process. Seats are allocated on the basis of JEE Main result, category, choice filling, availability of seats, and other factors.

IIIT Sri City B.Tech Cutoff 2023 (Expected)

IIIT Sri CityJEE Main cutoff is the minimum rank to get admitted to the B.Tech program. The cutoff will be released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The cutoff depends on various factors such as rank secured in the JEE Main examination, availability of seats, choice filling, reservation criteria, etc. IIIT Sri City BTech expected cutoff 2023 for general category candidates based on JoSAA 2022 round 1 opening and round 6 closing ranks is tabulated below:

How to Apply for JEE Main

Candidates who are eligible for admission have to take the JEE Main. The application process is given below:

• Visit the official website of JEE- Main
• Register for the online application form
• Make a note of the system-generated application number
• Create a password
• Log in again and fill out the form
• Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
• A fee of INR 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.
• Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

For JOSAA Counseling

Candidates who have a positive JEE Main score have to go for JoSAA counselling. Follow these steps to register:

• Click on the registration page at the official JoSAA website.
• Use the JEE Main application number to log in.
• Ensure that your candidate profile is accurate. 
• Click on ‘Submit changes’.
• Fill out your preferred colleges and specializations according to the list of available options.
• Lock the selected choices by clicking on ‘I agree to lock my choices’.
• Keep a printout of the page for future reference.

IIIT Chittoor offers 2-years MS by Research and Ph.D. programs in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.

The minimum eligibility to apply for M.S. is passing Bachelor’s (B.Tech./B.E.) degree from a recognized university. While for Ph.D., candidates must have Master’s or M.Phil degree. 

For securing admission in both the courses (M.S by Research and Ph.D.), the institute will consider academic qualification, grades, academic achievement and work experience of an individual. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview round. Thus, the final selection depends upon the performance in PI.

• Admission into Masters by Research and Ph.D. is done by evaluation of merit in Education Qualifications, Academic Achievements and Work Experience.
• The shortlisted candidates are invited for an Interview.
• The Interviewer evaluates candidates Knowledge, Research Skills and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
