Course Description

Steps to Apply for B.Tech Course
To apply for B.Tech. course, candidates first need to register for JEE Main and then for JoSAA or CSAB Counselling.

Visit the official website of JEE Main

Register for Online Application Form by entering details such as email ID and contact number.

Note down the system generated Application Number displayed on the screen.

Now create a password and choose a Security Question and answer it as well.

Once the password is created and application number is recorded, candidates need to login to fill fill the application form.

Enter the personal, academic and communication details as required

Also, upload the scanned images of photograph and signature

After filling, proceed to make payment of the application fee through Debit /Credit Card /Net Banking /UPI /PAYTM.

Take a print of the Confirmation Page and retain it for future use.

After the exam is held, students need to register for JoSAA or CSAB.

Upon successful registration, applicants need to fill details and choice of IIIT and branch of B.Tech course.

Based on the rank and choices filled, seat allotment will be done.

Steps to Apply for M.S and Ph.D. Courses

Students applying for M.S. or Ph.D. programs offered by the IIIT Chittoor will have to fill an on campus application form for admissions. ??

Visit the campus of the Institute to avail the application form
Duly fill the application form and submit it at the counter with relevant documents of proof.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for further admission process consisting of interviews.
Selected candidates will be sent an email of admission letter.
Interested ones need to visit the institute for document verification and for the payment of tuition-fee.

In order to compare between the two, my suggestion would be to check the website and look at the faculty. From what I know, IIIT Sri City has some really good faculty in terms of their qualifications. You can even compare the placement statistics of the two places. I know a few students at IIIT Guwahati and therefore, I would try to answer your question.

IIIT Guwahati is the highest-ranked IIIT among all the other IIITs by NIRF 2020. This is a huge achievement because it was established in 2013 under the Public-Private Partnership by the Government of India. It is growing rapidly.

The CSE program at IIIT Guwahati is very well-developed meeting the standards of an IIT. The institute provides a good research facility. Also, in the first year, the course is the same for CSE and ECE.

Here is a brief overview of the CSE program offered by these three institutes.

Your choice depends on your expectations from your desired college. IIIT Sri City is quite a decent college except for its location.

The faculty here is outstanding and highly qualified. They’re very cooperative and would provide you with proper guidance.
Coming to the location, it makes the days gloomy as there are no proper corners for hanging out and refreshing yourself after a tiring day at college.
Some of the extra-curriculums organized by the college are bicycle rides, kayaking, and trekking.

Why do you want to opt for engineering? Is it because you enjoy Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics? If that’s the reason, then there are two possibilities for you.

Joining IIIT Sri City for CSE-

You can sharpen your coding skills and work better on Computer Science learning more about ethical hacking, cybersecurity, etc. This is how CSE would prove to be fruitful to you.
But if we perceive the other side of the situation, if you do not hold any interest here, you might find it hard to cope with and eventually lose interest. Since IIIT Sri City is a new college, it will not be able to impart the essential communication/soft skills to you.

Joining Chemical Engineering at MANIT Bhopal-

Apart from developing a great interest in Chemical Engineering, you have the opportunities to either go for higher education via GRE or ensure placement via GATE.
But again, comparing the other side of the situation, if Chemical Engineering does not spark your interest, you can go for other domains like Management. MANIT offers all the adequate communication/soft skills that would be essential for that.

If you have no particular inclination, then choosing CSE may be better. As it has two domains, i.e. coding and non-coding. Plus, the internet is full of great ebooks and tutorials to teach you.
