SRM Vadapalani Admission 2024: Registration(Open), Dates, Courses, Fees, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

At under graduate level, SRM University offers Bachelor’s in Technology. Candidates must have obtained Higher Secondary Examinations Certificate with at least 50% aggregate marks. Qualifying exam must be passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. For admissions to B.Tech courses, the university conducts its entrance exam- SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam (SRMJEEE). List of qualifying candidates will be published at the official website.

Key Points:

• Direct admission is offered for candidates who have secured first rank in class 12^th, under 1000 in JEE Main, top rankers in all districts of Tamil Nadu and Sports (National/ International) level.
• The exam will be for 2.5 hours and will consist of three sections- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.
• Marks distribution pattern for each subject is given below:

Apart from B.Tech courses, under graduate courses are offered in Business Administration, Science, Computer Applications, Commerce and Arts. For B.Sc (Computer Science) and BCA it is necessary that candidates must have studied Mathematics or Computer Science with Mathematics in class 12^th.

Candidates must have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks in qualifying examination to apply for various under graduate courses. Admissions to all the UG courses will be based on marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying exam.

Note: Qualifying candidates will have to appear for the counselling round. A Provisional Allotment Letter will be issued to candidates after successful completion of the counselling to confirm admissions.

At its Vadapalani campus, the university offers post graduate courses in Commerce and Arts. Candidates seeking admissions to MA (English), musty have obtained Bachelor’s in concerned disciplines with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Applicants who have obtained graduation degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science or Business Management are eligible to apply for M.Com. Admissions to M.Com and MA (Arts) are made through the merit list issued based on candidate’s score in qualifying degree examination.

MBA is offered with specializations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, System and Operations. Admissions are made through PG Entrance Exam by the university- SRM Joint Entrance Exam (SRMJEE PG). Admissions are also done through the State/ National level management entrance exams- CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ TANCET. Candidates who have completed or are in final year of graduation are eligible to apply.

Key Points:

• All over the country, there will be 116 centers for SRMJEE.
• International test centers include Dubai, Muscat, Kuwait, Bahrain and Doha.
