Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (SVVV), Indore Admission 2024: Syllabus, Placement, Entrance Exam

Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore offers B.Tech program in 12 specializations at the UG level.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject with an aggregate of at least 45% marks from a recognized board. Admission to B.Tech will be granted based on the score obtained in JEE Main or SVET.

Key Points:

• Candidates belonging to SC/ ST Category will be given a relaxation of 5% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
• Those who don’t have a valid JEE Main score must appear for SVET to get admission to B.Tech.
• Lateral Entry admission is based on the merit in the qualifying exam.

The university also offers B.Sc program in 7 specializations, B.Sc (Hons) in 5 specializations, B.Arch, B.Des, BA/BA (Hons) in 6 specializations, B.Com (Hons) and BFA program at the UG level.

Students seeking admission to these programs must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.

Admission to BA, B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons), B.Com (Hons) and BBA courses will be offered based on performance in the qualifying interaction and Personal interaction. For B.Des and BFA programs, admission will be granted based on the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by the university followed by Interview. Admission to B.Arch course will be granted based on the score obtained in NATA or JEE Main Paper II. For B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture, selection is done on the basis of MP Pre Agricultural Test (PAT).

• Students holding a Diploma in any stream from a recognized institute with an aggregate of at least 50% are also eligible to apply for B.Arch course.

Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth University offers an M.Tech program in 13 specializations at the PG level. Aspirants must hold a BE/ B.Tech degree or equivalent in relevant specialization from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% marks.

Admission will be granted based on a valid score obtained in GATE or SVET followed by an Interview.

Key Points:

• Candidates with valid GATE score are given preference during admission.
• Admission to Non-GATE candidates is done through a written test SVET, followed by an interview conducted by the university.

SVVV, Indore offers an M.Sc program in 14 specializations at the PG level. Candidates must hold a B.Sc degree in relevant specializations or MBBS/ BDS with an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized university to be eligible. Admission will be granted based on performance in the Bachelor’s degree examination followed by an interview.

SVVV, Indore also offers MBA in 7 specializations, MCA, MFA and MA in 2 specializations, MA/M.Sc. in seven specializations at the PG level. MCA is also offered in Lateral Entry. It also offers Executive MBA and LLM. 

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant specialization with an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized university to seek admission to MBA, MCA and MA programs. For MFA course, students must have passed BFA/ BA (drawing and painting) or equivalent. For LLM, candidates are required to pass in Bachelor’s degree in Law with minimum 50% marks from recognized university. 

Admission to MBA is based on a valid score obtained in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ SVET. For MCA, MA, M.Sc. and MFA course, admission will be granted on the basis of merit in Bachelor’s degree examination followed by an interview. Admission to LLM is done on the basis of All India Admission Test conducted by the university.

• For executive MBA, one year of work experience is required for eligibility. 

SVVV Indore offers 14 different Dual Degree programs in various specializations. Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks. For Dual degree courses at the research level, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.

Admission to Dual degree courses will be granted based on merit in the qualifying examination followed by Interview. Admission to B.Des + M.Des and BFA + MFA course will be granted based on performance in the Entrance test conducted by the university followed by Interview. For MA/ M.Sc + Ph.D, candidates must have cleared Ph.D. Entrance Test. 

SVVV, Indore offers a Ph.D. program in 19 disciplines at the research level. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% marks.

Admission to Ph.D. will be granted based on the score obtained in GATE/ NET/ SET or SVET Entrance Test conducted by the university followed by Personal Interaction. Students admitted to the dual degree program of SVVV will be directly registered for Ph. D course work.

• Candidates belonging to SC/ ST Category will be given a relaxation of 5% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
• Students who do not have the required minimum percentage (55% marks) in their Master’s degree, should have completed AIU recognized/ AICTE approved PG Diploma in the subject/ area/ discipline in which they want to do Ph.D. and have secured an aggregate of at least 55% marks.
• Students admitted to the dual degree program of SVVV will be directly registered for Ph.D. coursework.
