Masters of Fine Arts (M.F.A) is a postgraduate course in the study of visual and performing arts. A candidate has to be a Bachelor of Fine Arts from a recognised university in order to be eligible for this course. 

Masters of Fine Arts is a two year program and some colleges offer the course with a specialisation or give the candidate the freedom to choose a specialisation while doing the course. The course is completed over the duration of four semesters.  The mode of admission is either through Entrance Examination or on the merit marks in qualifying examination followed by a personal interview.

The average tuition fee for the entire course ranges between 75,000 INR to 1.5 lakh.
