OP Jindal University Raigarh Admission

OP Jindal University provides admission to B.Tech. M.Tech. and MBA courses on the basis of entrance exam merit rank. B.Sc and BBA admissions are given on the basis of HSC merit percentage. The admissions are announced in a stipulated time period in which the students have to apply.

OP Jindal University’s Career Development Center (CDC) is a dynamic unit, which provides a comprehensive array of services and support to its students that will assist them in their lifelong Career Development and Placement. The CDC focuses on the overall development of the students aiming for the final placement

CDC acts as an association between the industry and the students and organises the campus recruitment drives of all the companies as per their requirements. CDC liaisons with industries and corporate organizations to provide jobs and internship opportunities to the students completing their studies at OP Jindal University. Various scholarships are provided to the students during the tenure of admission to the college. Some of the scholarships are mentioned below:

1. Entry Level Scholarship

Note: 

• Aggregate of class XII (10+2) percentage of all subjects from any recognized board in case of B.Tech., BBA, B. Com.(Hons.), BA Economics (Hons.), B. Sc.(Hons.) program.
• Aggregate of class X percentage in case of diploma programs.
• Aggregate of Graduation percentage in case of M.Sc. program.

2. Entry Level Scholarship for international students (other than India)

Note: The scholarships are given on an annual basis. To continue the scholarships after the first year, the student will have to maintain a minimum prescribed academic performance during the course of the program. Moreover, the students availing of the above mentioned scholarships will have to complete the entire course at OP Jindal University. In case a candidate fails to do so, he/she must return the scholarship amount. 

100. Merit cum Means Scholarships: This scholarship is applicable only to Indian students. It is awarded every year to promote excellence among students and also to financially support the students belonging to economically weaker section.

500. OP Jindal Jewel Special Scholarships: This scholarship is awarded to students who want to pusue Higher/Technical education on the special approval of management. Meritorious students wanting to pursue higher studies and belonging to economically weaker section are considered for this scholarship. An amount of INR 40,000 each is awarded every year to the eligible students.

5. OP Jindal Engineering & Management Scholarships (OPJEMS): This scholarship is aimed at promoting academic and leadership excellence. A scholarship amount of INR 1,50,000 per annum (management scholar) and INR 80,000per annum (engineering scholar) is awarded to the meritorious students who have the potential to become leaders in entrepreneurial excellence and innovation.

Given below are the various facilities created at OP Jindal University for the students:

• Hostel: OP Jindal University also provides hostel facility to third and fourth year students. The allotment of double or triple sharing hostel rooms depends upon first-come-first-serve basis. The hostel charges include Mess, Wi-Fi, Electricity, Laundry, and Weekly Transportation. Tabulated below is the hostel fees:

• Library: A resourceful library with around 30,000 books is there on the campus. It has wide variety of magazine and journals. Also, digital library is there which be accessed From anywhere, anytime.
• Transportation: OP Jindal University also provides transportation facility to its students. The transportation cost is INR 15,000.
• Wifi: Wifi facility is present all over the campus at free of cost.
• Advanced Learning Infrastructure: Live classrooms and telepresence are there on the campus to enable faculty from other premium institutions around the world to teach OPJU students. 3-D virtual learning laboratories are there to promote learning.
• Research: Research facilities are very good at the institute which helps M.Tech and Ph.D. students.

 There are separate faculty teams for every program. There are 39 faculty members in the Engineering domain. Most of the faculties are from reputed engineering colleges such as IIT or NIT. Most of them are Ph.D. holders, some of them have an M.tech degree too.
