Under the UG domain, the university offers B.Tech (Civil engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering), B. Arch, BCA, BTTM, BBM courses. Similarly, under the PG domain, the university offers MA (English, Journalism and Mass Communication, Kannada, Music, Visual Arts), M.Com, M.Sc(Botany, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology), MCA, MBA courses. However, B.E/ B.Tech and MBA/PGDM are the courses most preferred by the candidates.

• For admission to B.Arch courses also, an entrance exam, namely, NATA is conducted by the university on its own. The admission process requires 10+2 with 45% aggregate marks and a qualifying score in the entrance exam.
• For admission to MBA courses, the qualification of the student required is graduation. Also, the admission to this course is based on the entrance exam KMAT conducted by the university itself.
• The admission to other courses such as M.Tech, M.Sc, MA, MHTM, M.Com is conducted on the basis of their marks in the previous year's record.

Sharnbasva university is a private state university located in Vidya Nagar, Kalaburgi, Karnataka state of India. It was established in 2017 and has been recognized by the UGC.
