Sport Studies
The Sport Studies curriculum prepares graduates for careers in *teaching, coaching, and sport administration in elementary, secondary, and post-secondary educational settings. It matches the interests and needs of the student with those of the faculty in a broad range of coursework in liberal arts, exercise science, and administration.
Sport Management
The Sport Management curriculum prepares graduates for management careers in a variety of sport and recreational organizations, primarily within educational settings. Coursework is focused on liberal arts, business, and management. Internship opportunities with leading sport organizations and agencies are encouraged.
Fitness Management
The Fitness Management curriculum prepares students for management careers in fitness organizations. It matches the interests and needs of the student with those of the faculty in a wide range of coursework in liberal arts, exercise science, and management. Internship opportunities with a variety of fitness and strength and conditioning organizations are available.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
- Applicants must have a GPA of 2.8 or equivalent
- If GPA is less than 2.8 submit 600-700 word statement that includes relevant information about your past experience
- Submit two academic or professional letters of recommendation
- Submit statement of purpose
- Submit resume
- Students with GPA less than 3.0 must submit GMAT scores
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 110
- PTE; minimum 58
