Because of it's amazing, modern, technologically advanced. It's also a pretty decent cost price for credits and for the experience you get. The services and free things this school offers are abundant. They love their students.
Course Curriculum
The course curriculum is pretty good. It really depends on what college program you are in. I've heard a lot of the science and math classes are extremely hard. As an education major, we mainly focus on experience in the field of teaching and getting to know how to do your job to the best of your ability.
Exams
Before getting into college I took the SAT and ACT. I think I got 1400 on my SAT and a 14 on my SAT.
Placement
There are a lot of opportunities at UCF including jobs and placements. It's easy to stumble upon something cool and get an interview. Everyone is pretty nice and willing to help. There are also plenty of places around the area.
Internship
Yeah, there are plenty of ways to get an internship. Some pay, some don't. It depends on where and how you're trying to get into an internship. A lot of faculty know many resources and can help you find a paid one if you really need the stipend.
Events
UCF literally celebrates everything. We celebrate the arts, the gays, black history month, football team wins, we celebrate anything and everything. The education program celebrates many things like knight TED talks and always doing service learning and volunteering to help others in our community.
Fees
We have some extra fees charged to our tuition for things like the gym. So get your money worth by staying in shape. We also have to pay for parking which SUCKS. But other than that everything is pretty decently priced
Scholarship
Yes. I have scholarships as well as financial aid if it was for this I wouldn't be able to really go to school so far away from home. You just fill out your FAFSA form every year and you get money based on your parent's tax brackets etc.
Examination Structure
The exam structures in most classes are basic depending again on what level course some can be harder than others. In my education classes, the exam structures are based on lectures and what we cover during class so studying for an hour or more can definitely help you.
Faculty
The faculty at UCF are all pretty decent. The ones that teach the basic level classes seem to be less interested in you but if you really want their attention just reach out and talk to them. Every professor is amazing in the education field and is very knowledgeable.
Hostel
Definitely off campus. Always find something where you feel happy and comfortable. there are many places that offer shuttles and rides to school! Make friends and get to know people with cars.
