The program is typically completed in two years. Classes are offered weekday evenings on the Loop Campus.
Work on investigative reporting projects with Peabody Prize-winning Chicago and national media veterans Carol Marin and Don Moseley, co-leaders of DePaul’s Center for Journalism Integrity and Excellence.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students should have completed a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent from a recognized university.
Students require a minimum 3.7 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Language Requirments:

Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
