Hostel:

I live off-campus and share a 3 bedroom apartment. The main advantage of my apartment is its vicinity to my department. Iowa City being a college town, everything is relatively close by. However, my apartment is close to my department and downtown Iowa City. So everything is more accessible from here. The average rent is around $450 per person if staying in a shared apartment. For studio apartments, it ranges from $600-1200 depending on amenities and distance to downtown.

It is a public university with a good research background. Especially in healthcare, which matched my experience. Preparation: Self-taught for exams. But I had joined Imperial overseas education for other consultation.

I live on campus, but we are the furthest from everything. It's hard to get to class-or anywhere- without waiting 20 minutes. It's sad that we can't park in our lot due to them not having enough space. I know the ones on campus are ok, mainly there's only like three buildings people want to live in on campus.

A lot of my friends were going, so I knew I would have roomates I knew and trusted. I liked how many different classes and majors there were too! I also heard that it was a friendly environment and had heard many great things about it! When I toured it, I saw how much I would love being here. It's such a nice place

My freshman year I lived in the dorms as required. The process for room and building selection was very stressful and we were given little to no choices. This past year I have lived in my sorority house which is very far off-campus. There are almost no houses close to campus and it feels like our school does not support Greek life. Next year I plan to live in an apartment.

The nursing program was ranked highly I wanted a big university I wanted to be apart of Greek life and it was instated for me and offered me scholarships that made going here incredibly reasonable. I also love the campus/downtown area.

The off-campus residence is where I live. I live in an apartment that is about a 15-minute walk to campus. There are not many options for graduate students to live on campus so I had to choose off-campus housing.

It has a good reputation and the program has a high ranking by US News and World Report. Also, the professors are wonderful and they really want the students to succeed. The professors make sure that we are well prepared.

I lived on campus all of the four years but a lot of people lived in houses or apartments close by. There are a lot of opportunities to sub-let places for cheap or get several roommates. The Iowa City area is a little on the expensive side.

It was a good program and I got a scholarship to attend the university. Student life is awesome as there is a lot of curricular and extracurricular activities. There are a lot of restaurants and bars by the university.
