Over 7000 students live on-campus and explore the nearby areas. In Fayette and Henry counties, the university provides additional program instructional sites. Clayton State University’s Film and Digital Media Center is located at Lucy Huie Hall in Jonesboro, Georgia.

Students opting for on-campus residence are required to submit a non-refundable contract application fee of 200 USD for the semester they wish to apply to. Clayton State University Scholarships
Clayton State University provides International Student Scholarships to international freshmen. This scholarship is exclusive for new international applicants for the fall semester. Applicants are required to complete the admissions process by June 15th to be eligible for this scholarship. The eligibility criteria are a minimum GPA of 3.0/4(83%-86%) and submission of a statement of purpose. It is awarded based on an applicant's academic performance, financial need, and timely submission of required documentation. It can be renewed for up to 9 semesters. For renewal, undergraduate students and graduate students are required to maintain a 2.5 CGPA and 3.0 CGPA respectively.
For academic scholarship, Clayton State uses the Blackbaud scholarship software application that finds students who match the eligibility requirements for each scholarship. All students including international students are considered for any University-administered scholarships that they meet the requirements for. Students can also apply for scholarships in the US for further fee waivers and financial support..
Work While you Study
International students are allowed to work part-time on the university campus. They can work for a maximum of 20 hours a week. Full-time i.e. 40 hours a week work is allowed on-campus during school vacations. International students must have SSN for on-campus as well as off-campus employment. SSN is a kind one-of-a-kind number that identifies someone as a tax-paying individual. You must have a Social Security number so that your company can properly withhold taxes.
Graduate students can also apply for the graduate assistantship through their concerned academic program. They are required to work 10-20 per week. The award varies depending upon the department.
