Bachelor (Electronic Media and Film)

Study the aesthetics and production of film, television and radio. Within each of three concentrations, you can develop skills in writing, media history and criticism, and professional media production. The major will prepare you for careers in film, television, video, audio, radio and other media.
FILM/VIDEO/DIGITAL MEDIA
Delve into the history of film and electronic media. Learn the production techniques required to create and broadcast performance and news programming on film and video.
RADIO/AUDIO
Explore the fundamentals of audio and radio production and how it is applied in the music, cable and news industries
FILM AND MEDIA STUDIES
Discover how content is created and produced, analyze the worldwide impact of film and media coverage, and participate in discussions and critiques of various genres
You will be assigned an adviser to help you design a program to meet your needs.? Meet with your adviser each semester to discuss your progress toward graduation and possible career opportunities.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other educational institution attended
- Official transcripts must be evaluated course by course by an accredited agency
- Submitting SAT/ACT is optional
- Submit a list of your activities and complete an essay
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 70 in iBT with subscores of 17
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 105
- PTE: minimum 49
