I chose UBC because you could feel like you were near enough to the city to access it but not too close to feel like you were literally an extension of it. Also, Vancouver has some hiking which I wasn't able to access back to my home country of Singapore!
Course Curriculum
I'm only in the first year, so we don't have tons of industrial exposure yet! But I've heard there's a lot for a second, third, and fourth-year.
Faculty
The Sauder faculty at UBC is amazing and I think the work they do speaks above the ratios that have with faculty to students.
Placement
Really good! I can't specifically speak from experience but I know multiple friends who have visited companies like PwC, Google, KPMG, Deloitte, Microsoft from connections they made at the Sauder faculty!
Accommodation
I am currently staying at Marine Drive 3/4 bedroom which is $950 per month but every residence and accommodation type is different and I would urge prospective students to check out the UBC Housing Website for more exact costs and facility specifics.

Events
UBC has a lot of amazing opportunities on and off-campus to get involved, we have over 350 clubs, student organizations, and groups and they all range from academic, athletic, social to just for fun! There is always something for someone here at UBC as according to their university slogan - Tuum est.
Fees
Around 50,000 per year!
Scholarship
