UBC has the most beautiful campus. The professors are outstanding and Canada as a whole is great.

Exams
I had to submit the general form of UBC which included multiple essays and short answer questions. I had one round of interviews after my initial application. The interview consisted of a question related to my interest in UBC. I suggest really thinking through your decision of going to this university so you come prepared for the interview.

Faculty
A lot of my lectures are big with over 200 students attending, so usually the ratio is pretty substantial in favor of students. However, there are lectures that only have 30 or so people in which you can really get to know the professors. Most of them are great with a wealth of experience to share.
Hostel
I lived in a double room with a roommate. The room was fairly spacious. Bathrooms are clean and my overall experience was good.
