The Canadian course is easier than the one that they have in India especially in Computers. The ones that I am studying is far better than the Indian curriculum. In India, a Commerce student can?t really think about pursuing computer science. But, here I have friends who are from Commerce background and are doing really well in my course. Because, in this course, we are only taught about Mathematics and Statistics which are the only things required to access in this field. So, I think the pressure is easy and it is good for each and every type of student.
$630 per credit
My course curriculum is totally related to its title which covers all the aspects of computer information systems. Till now I had not got any opportunities for research and industry engagement because the courses that I had studied till now are just the prerequisites of the main/advanced courses.
Approximately 5,000 CAD per semester.
The courses are nice and easy. They are easily understandable as well. We also get industrial exposure from time to time.
62 thousand CAD
The course syllabus is quite relevant, yes the industrial visits are quite common, we tend to meet the professionals in the industry very often, the alumni also guide us.
$18000 (CAD)
Well, updated curriculum. They introduced many new courses during a pandemic.
5500 CAD subject to change every year!
The course and syllabus are relevant to computer information systems with other businesses course too.
$30,000 CAD
I think the course curriculum has helped me to gain knowledge about the field I want to go in. Industrial visits also took place which gave me good exposure.
12 lakhs per year
As per my experience, the Course Curriculum is moderate in terms of difficulty because unlike other universities, more emphasis is given to the practical aspects of the subject, and the courses are planned as such that we are able to take classes in core computer science courses and at the same time, we take a few business courses to learn about how IT companies operate in the real world. Also, in terms of industrial experience, I have signed up for the optional Co-op Work Term of 12-months to gain the necessary work experience before graduating so that I am better prepared to work under pressure in the real work scenario. So, therefore, it is entirely up to the student as to what he/she has planned for his/her career.
Tuition fees at UFV are about $21,000 (Canadian) for two terms, i.e. Fall and Winter term. In the summer, if a student wishes to study, then he/she will have to pay extra on a per-credit basis depending upon the number of courses he/she is planning to take.
