Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must have the equivalent of a Canadian Bachelor's degree from an academic institution recognized by the University of Victoria.
  • The minimum requirement for admission to the MEng is B average (5.0/9.0 GPA) in the last two years (30 units) of academic study.

Indian Student Eligibility:

  • Students must complete a Bachelor’s (4 years) degree in Sustainable Innovation or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • The minimum grade score for a degree should be 7/10 (60%), first class.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
