Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program-specific requirements.
- Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration; subject to competition individual programs may require higher prerequisite grades and/or higher overall averages:
- A minimum grade of 70% or higher will be required in Grade 12 U English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
- A minimum grade of 75% is required in the subject prerequisites and as an overall average.
English Language proficiency:
- Applicants from India, China, Vietnam, Philippines, and Pakistan should note that IELTS is the only proficiency score accepted by the Study Direct Stream (SDS) program.
- Meeting the minimum English requirements does not guarantee admission. Students with higher English proficiency scores will receive priority in the admission assessment process.
- Not all students will qualify for EAP-3106 in place of the required IELTS or TOEFLiBT test scores.

- Two Letter of Recommendation: Reference letters are a key component of the application package depending on the program student are applying for research and/or professional abilities.
- Electronic Official transcripts: Submit copies of official transcripts from post-secondary institutions attended in PDF format.
- Statement of Interest: Students have to fill their interesting research work area in the application form.
- Interview: After the submission of your application, you will be contacted to complete an online video interview.
