Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must complete a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • The related fields include a UG degree in computer engineering, engineering science, computational mathematics, applied computing, applied mathematics, computer information systems.
  • A GPA of at least 3.0 (B grade) out of 4.33 is required to be eligible for the program.

Work Experience Eligibility:

  • Students with lower qualifications can apply for the program if they have worked in a software company before.
  • However, the work experience is more useful for students opting for the course-based MSc program.
  • For the thesis-based MSc program, admission is offered based upon publications, participation in research projects, and academic awards.

Others:

Students without related academic experience or work experience students are also encouraged to apply, given they have completed the following courses:

  • Operating Systems
  • Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Database Systems and Structures

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
  • Or, completed a master degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
  • Or, completed a 3-year UG degree with a first-class from a NAAC-accredited institution 

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
