Eligibility
For admission into B.Tech, candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and have secured 50% marks (45% for Backward Class and PH candidates).
NOTE - Candidates seeking admission through lateral entry in the second year of the course must have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology with 50% marks (45% for backward class and disabled candidates).
Selection Criteria
- A candidate who hails from Maharashtra must have a valid score MHT-CET exam for admission.
- While, candidates belonging to other states must have a non-zero positive JEE Main score.
- However, the final selection is done through the counselling conducted by Common Admission Process (CAP).
- During this counselling, qualified applicants need to register, select their type of candidature, enter required details, upload scanned images and pay the counselling fee.
- The successfully registered candidates have to report at Admission Facilitation Center (AFC) for document verification.
- After verification, students need to login to select the choice of course and pick AITRC as the preferred college.
- Based on the rank, choices filled and availability of seats, CAP will allot seats to candidates
- Once the allotment is done, students have to choose any of the options among freeze, float and slide.
- Lastly, they have to report at the allotted college to confirm the seat and complete the admission process.
