• The minimum eligibility for BE Lateral Entry is a Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% marks for backward class and PWD categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in relevant branch of Engineering and Technology.
• Or a B.Sc. degree with 45% marks (40% marks for backward class and PWD categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject. • For Maharshtar candidates, selection is based on the performance in MHT-CET followed by the counselling conducted through CAP. 
• For All India candidates, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET
