Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman College of Engineering offers four-year B.E and B.Tech program in nine disciplines. Admissions are based on TNEA procedure. Candidates must have scored 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Candidates belonging to backward communities are eligible for relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks.
AMACE also offers B.Arch for which candidates are admitted through the counseling conducted at university level based on National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) score. AMACE M.E., MBA and MCA Admission 2023
AMCAE admits students to PG courses through the state level entrance exam viz. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University. Counseling of the merit candidates will be conducted through Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA).
For admission to M.E. program candidates must hold B.Tech/ B.E./MCA/Master’s degree in science branch with at least 50% marks. Minimum educational qualification for applicants for MBA and MCA program is a pass in a recognized Bachelor’s degree and secure at least 50% marks.

Key Points:
- For admissions to direct 2nd year of MCA, candidates must have obtained BCA/ B.Sc (IT/ CS) with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- GATE qualified candidates do not have to appear for the written entrance exam.
- After counselling schedule is announced, candidates will have to attend TANCA 2021 process for verification of documents, seat allotment and confirmation of admission process.
- Relaxation of 5% in qualifying exam will be given to the candidates of the reserved categories.
AMACE Application Process 2023
Candidates seeking admission in AMACE have to apply through TANCET and TNEA official portal.
TANCET
- For TANCET applications, candidates need to register with a valid email id, phone number and password.
- Log in with the id and password and fill the mandatory details.
- Upload scanned copies of passport size photograph and signature.
- Proceed to pay the application fees of INR 500 for General category candidates and INR 250 for reserved category candidates.
- Application fees can be paid through debit/credit cards or net banking.
TNEA
- For TNEA application, candidates need to click on the “register” tab on the home page of the website.
- After the successful completion of registration process, applicants must fill the personal details and academic qualification details.
- Proceed to pay the fees and submit the application.
- Attach the self attested copies of the following documents along with the hard copy of the duly filled application form:
- Class 10th mark sheet
- Class 12th mark sheet
- Transfer certificate issued by school
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Nativity certificate
- Relevant certificates for the children of Ex servicemen/ freedom fighters.
