Co-operative Institute of Technology (CITV), Vadakara was established in 1999 by Co-operative Academy of Professional Education. It is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Computer Centre	The college has a computer centre with 230 computers which are well equipped with latest tools and technologies.
Library	The library spread over an area of 430 sq. mtrs. and has a reading room with capacity of 75 students. It has a collection of about 3035 titles and 7376 volumes of books. It subscribes to 35 national and 10 international journals.
Hostel	The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls students separately.

The minimum qualification for this course is a +2 degree and one should be qualified in the entrance exam conducted by CEE.the name of the exam is keam. based on the rank list the admission process is done by three phases of allotment. Fee reduction for sc/st students is available.

Be an Indian citizen or NRI Pass higher secondary examination or equivalent Secure a minimum of 50% in Mathematics separately and 50% in Mathematics, physics, and chemistry combined. For NRI students a minimum of 45% in the higher secondary examination. Submission of team result.

The student shall pass the eligibility exam conducted by the Kerala govt KEAM in both physics, chemistry section and mathematics. The application form will be available on the official website of CEE. Reservations are available for minority categories.

The eligibility criteria to get admission for the course of BTech in Kerala under APJ ABDUL KALAM UNIVERSITY is to cross the cutoff scores of the entrance examination conducted by the Kerala government that is KEAM. Applications will be invited from the students by the month of DEC-JAN every year. The application form will be available on the official website of KEAM. The FEE structure for girls is 750 and for boys, it is 1500. The reservation is available for minorities based on the total strength of the college
