Kalyani Government Engineering College M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
PGET is a state level entrance test conducted by West Bengal University of Technology. Candidates need to clear this test to apply for Kalyani College Course. The eligibility criteria for PGET are as follows:
- AICTE approved Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy/Architecture.
- Candidates in the final year of Bachelor’s degree are also eligible. Candidates in final year will be granted provisional admission and will have to submit their final mark sheet before a prescribed deadline
- The sponsored candidates must have one-year experience in Polytechnic/Engineering College/ Industry in addition to the eligibility for PGET-2020. A certificate of sponsorship from the present employer must also be submitted.
- Reservation for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PwD will be based on government rules.
- Candidates with valid GATE score will be given preference.
Kalyani Government Engineering College M.Tech Admission Guidelines
- The admissions are centralized. Candidates seeking admission need to apply for the entrance exam for their respective course on the official website of west Bengal University of Technology.
- Candidates need to fill the application form and submit online along with the required documents.
- Candidates will need to pay the application fee of 600/- for open category and 300/- for reserved category.
- After completing the form submission process online candidates take a print of the form and payment receipt. The hard copy of the form is to be submitted with the candidate's signature and documents.
- The registration for PGET 2020 has been closed. The notice for batch 2021 will be out next year on the website.
Application Procedure
- To apply for PGET, visit https://makautwb.ac.in/
- Register using email ID.
- Fill the application form. Candidate’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category, Written Test Centre, Educational Qualification, E-mail Id, Mobile Number, Address, Declaration, etc. Will be required in the application form.
- Photograph, Signature and qualification related documents are required with the form.
- After the submission of the application form, pay the application fee.
- Candidates belonging to reserved categories must also submit the relevant certificates. Sponsored candidates must submit a letter of sponsorship from their Employer.
- Candidates need to make a choice regarding course and college at the time of registration.
- Candidates who qualify the entrance exam and have fulfilled the merit cutoff of the chosen college will be called for the counseling session.
