What type of counseling services are available for students?

The placement department has a counseling cell. It offers a training center to develop soft skills like language development, behavioral standards, and software knowledge.

Is attendance compulsory at the NIFFT?

Yes. The students have to meet a minimum attendance requirement of 85% to be eligible to appear for the examination.

Does the NIFFT organize any events?

Yes. The college has a Student Gymkhana which takes care of arranging technical events and cultural programs. It is headed by a managing committee formed by a blend of college management and senior students.

Is there a cut-off score for the GATE exam for NIFFT?

Yes. The GATE and the JEE Mains both have cut off for the B.Tech and M.Tech. admissions. The general category cut off for B.Tech admissions are in the house of 55,000 to 60,000 as in 2019 admission.

Does the institute provide an education loan?

Scholarship and loan facilities are provided and collaborated for the students at NIFFT Ranchi.

Does the NIFFT require a test to prove proficiency in English?

No. English proficiency tests are not required at the time of admission
