Campus Life:

The campus at PCCOER offers a range of sports facilities. For outdoor sports, there are well-maintained courts and grounds for cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball. The college also provides facilities for indoor sports like table tennis, badminton, and squash. Most of the necessary sports equipment is provided by the college, though students may sometimes need to bring their own for certain activities. Yes, the college has a gym equipped with a variety of fitness machines and weights. The facilities are generally well-maintained, allowing students to stay fit and healthy. The campus does have a swimming pool, which is shared by both boys and girls. Students can access the pool during scheduled hours, and it's typically available several times a week, depending on maintenance and usage policies. The auditorium and library are key facilities on campus. The auditorium is spacious and used for various events, seminars, and presentations. The library is well-equipped with a wide range of books and resources, though access to specific texts may sometimes be limited. The library is usually open from early morning until late evening, providing ample time for study. Additionally, students have access to third-party databases and online resources for research and projects, including JSTOR and IEEE Xplore. The college campus is quite large, with the distance from the hostels to the academic block being around 10-15 minutes on foot. Most students prefer walking or using bicycles to travel between the hostels and academic buildings. Students are generally allowed to keep personal bikes on campus, but there are strict regulations about keeping cars. Permission to bring a car requires special authorization from the college administration. Relatives can visit students on campus, and overnight stays are permitted.
