This is because my brother was in the recent batch and according to him these are the reasons that make it a good choice ROI: The fees charged at this B School are very less in comparison to other B schools. Rigor: The MBA Executive Program is quite rigorous with classes 6 days a week. Regular exams, sessionals, projects, and assignments make it a bit frustrating but in the end, they help you in clearing semesters. Faculty: The faculty for this program is very experienced and knowledgeable. Mixed batch: The diverse profiles of your peers make it a more challenging and thrilling experience. The batch has doctors, engineers, CAs, Armed forces officers, PSU employees, and IT professionals. Duration: 2 years Degree: An MBA degree from Delhi University is worth it in the end.

FMS Delhi offers two Executive MBA programs for working professionals. The Executive MBA programs are offered in Health Care Administration (HCA) and General Executive MBA. Admission to these programs are based on scores obtained in 12th Standard & Graduation, Discussion on Executive Experience or Statement of Purpose, Extempore, two references & Personal Interview. Students don't need to appear for CAT or any other entrance test to get admission in the executive MBA programs at FMS Delhi.

The program duration for both executive MBAs is 2 years and classes are conducted in the evening from Monday to friday but often extend for longer periods on Saturdays. Students attend their classes in one of the two campuses of FMS (North and South Campus). The allocation of the campus is done by FMS.

FMS Delhi Executive MBA Course Details

Executive MBA is a 2 year (4 Semesters Course).
Classes are held in Evening mode from Monday to Friday, but are often held for a longer duration on Saturday.
Students attend their classes on one of the two campuses of FMS i.e North and South Campus, as allocated by the college
Students are required to complete 112 Credits for Completion of the Course
In the 2nd Year of the Program, Students are required to choose 4 & 3 Elective Courses.

FMS Delhi Executive MBA Eligibility Criteria

Admission to Executive MBA program is based on:

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grades in Arts, Commerce, Social Sciences, Law, Sciences, Mathematics/Statistics, Medicine, Engineering or Technology.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive or an Administrator in a Commercial or Government establishment/registered Organization.

Admission to Executive MBA in HCA program is based on the following factors:

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grades in MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS or
Master Degree with a minimum of 55% marks in Biotechnology / Genomics / Genetics / Nursing / Bioengineering / Alternative Systems of Medicine / Paramedical Discipline / Pharmacology / Anthropology / Zoology and
Minimum of 5 years of Work Experience in Executive or Administrative position in Public / Private / Autonomous registered Health Care Organization.

Note: Candidates should produce a No Objection Certificate to pursue the program from his/her present employer.

FMS Delhi Executive MBA Fee Structure

FMS Delhi fee for Executive MBA & Executive MBA in HCA program is payable at the beginning of the academic year. The semester fee is currently approximately INR 48,000 for the Executive MBA programme, per semester. Students from the PWD category shall be exempted from payment of all fees except the Admission fee and Identity Card fee. Please note that the fees for the various programmes and reservation categories can be revised at any time before the commencement of or during the duration of the programmes, as per instructions from the University of Delhi.

Candidates are Shortlisted based on their Applications. Shortlisted Candidates will be called for In-Person Assessments which includes Personal Interview. Final Admission is based on Various Criteria, they are as follows:

What is the fee structure in FMS Delhi for MBA

The tuition Fees at FMS Delhi are one of the lowest and most affordable Business schools in the country.

The Annual tuition fee for MBA-Full Time and Ph.D. programs at FMS is INR 10,480/-year.

For MBA-Executive and MBA-Executive (Health Care Administration) programs, the annual fee is INR 50,000 in two equal installments of INR 25,000 each.

FMS does not have a hostel facility so its students live in the vicinity of the campus in PFs and flats. The monthly expenses range from 15-30k based on your maintenance.

However, the campus hostel is cheap and excellent. The fee for the campus hostel is INR 1400 for accommodation and INR 1200 for food.

So the total fees is very low compared to other top B Schools that are similar in ranking to FMS. Also if you consider the following ROI, FMS students don’t have to really pay much from their pocket

How much money will it take to study for an MBA at FMS Delhi?

The MBA programme at FMS Delhi is inexpensive, but the placements at FMS are on par with or even exceed the packages received by students at the top three IIMs during campus placements. , at the risk of being forced to do so. As a result, many candidates who are offered admission to IIMs select the FMS Delhi MBA programme as their top choice.

The two-year MBA programme at FMS Delhi costs Rs.1.92 lakhs. The FMS Delhi MBA fees have risen significantly. FMS Delhi MBA fees for its two-year full-time course have now increased to Rs.48,000/- per semester (Rs.1.92 lakhs for two years) from Rs.25,000/- two years ago. The fee is due at the start of the academic year. PWD students will be exempt from paying all fees except the Admission fee and the Identity Card fee.

In addition to this fee, the students have established a registered body, the Management Science Association (MSA), which consists of various societies and charges a membership fee for carrying out student activities. The fee is set by the students on an ongoing basis.

How good is SPJIMR's PGDM? I’m looking at the current placement records of over 26L average. Is it performing better than top B-schools like XLRI/FMS/IIM?

SPJIMR has been among the top 5 or 10 B Schools over the past few years consistently. Its brand value can be compared to XLRI, FMS, and even IIMs except for IIM ABC. This is because even now there are some roles offered to IIM ABC students that are not offered at SPJIMR. But this is not a major issue as these roles seek only extraordinary profiles and In Fact, many other roles offered at IIM ABC are lower than average.

In SPJIMR even the lowest package is decent and the range of salary is not very broad. This year, SPJIMR's average package stood at INR 33.02 LPA.

Other key points to note in comparison to old IIMs is that our Highest CTC is lower than that of IIMs but our Lowest CTC is higher than that of IIMs. So I will suggest anyone with an exceptionally good profile to choose IIM whereas someone with a decent average profile should go for SPJIMR only. It is important to note that getting roles at SPJIMR is a bit easier than IIMs mainly because of the small batch size and less competition.

What is a better option between IIM Ahmedabad and FMS Delhi given that I have no financial help from my parents?

Financially speaking, FMS Delhi is a better option. The fees are extremely low compared to most other B Schools. The low fees do not compromise the quality of education here. But the accommodation and other expenses are high in Delhi. So the best option is to get a hostel in DU. But if you are okay with below-average rooms then rooms are available near FMS in the Malka Ganj area. They cost around INR 4000-7000.

If you go for IIM Ahmedabad, the scholarships and student loans will help you a lot. They will cover your tuition and hostel fees and will have to just pay your personal expenses (10k-15k in PG). One won’t regret investing in IIM Ahmedabad in the long run. But the ultimate choice is yours.
