UIET Kurukshetra Admission 2023: Courses, Fee, Eligibility

The institute offers B.Tech program in 5 specializations. 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission. Following is the tabular brief description of the program:

Eligibility 

• For admission in the UIET B.Tech program, a candidate must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics & Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Application, Computer Science, or Technical Vocational subject as a compulsory subject. 
• The minimum age limit for applying for admission in the B.Tech program is 17 years as on 31.12.2021. There is no upper age limit. 

Selection Criteria 

Students will be selected for admission based on qualifying JEE Main with a valid score followed by counselling sessions. 

How to Apply for B.Tech? 

Students can apply for B.Tech through applying for JEE Main. 

• Visit the website of JEE Main.
• Register for application by clicking on “Apply for JEE Main” under “New Candidate Registration”.
• Enter your Personal and Educational details.
• Submit the application form.
• Make sure to note down the application number generated.
• Upload the required documents.
• Pay the application fee through Credit/ Debit card/ Paytm/ SBI Buddy.
• The fee can also be paid through e-challan. E-challan could be downloaded from the website after the submission of the form and deposit the e-challan at either of these banks ICICI/ HDFC/ Syndicate/ Canara.

• Scanned copy of Photograph
• Scanned copy of Signature
• Scanned copy of Thumb Impression
• Certificate of Class 10th/ 12th

Eligibility 

In terms of basic eligibility for M.Tech applicants, an applicant must hold a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree in the relevant subject. 

Selection Criteria

Admissions to M.Tech programs will be provided based on valid GATE scores and appearance in counselling. 

How to Apply for M.Tech? 

• Register for the examination through the Online Application Form.
• Create a unique ID and Password.
• Log in with the unique ID and Password. 
• Enter your details. 
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature in pdf format. 
• Upload other required documents such as category certificate ( SC/ST/PwD) and/or eligibility certificate if any.
• Enter the GATE paper and choose the examination city.
• Make the payment and submit it.
• Check application status and take a printout.

Documents required

• Scanned passport size photographs.
• Scanned signature.
• Scanned copy of Degree certificate, provisional certificate, and certificate from Head of the Department in pdf format. This is available on the GOAPS website. 

The institute offers admission to the PhD Course under 4 research areas. Students having a Masters degree in the relevant subject can apply for admission.

Eligibility

The candidates who have secured 60% or more marks in Master's Degree in relevant discipline can apply for Ph.D. NET / GATE students will be preferably selected. 

Selection Criteria

Candidates will be selected based on obtained marks in the NET/GATE examination.
