DTC conducts its admission process through a proper counselling session. For B.Tech, candidates have to secure a valid score in JEE Main. Admission to B.Arch is on the basis of the National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA). For admission to BCA & BHMCT students must qualify for IPU CET. For MBA, a valid score in CAT is necessary and the final selected will be based on that. Non-CAT candidates will be required to appear for the IPU CET.

Delhi Technical Campus was established in the year 1998. The College is a public professional University located in Delhi.
Its 90% of the admissions are through the University Counselling and 10% of the seats are available for Management Quota. Through counselling, 85 % of seats are also reserved for students belonging to Delhi.
For Management quota, the criteria of admission is strictly based on merit (qualifying examination) as specified by the University. The candidates must attend the personal Interview if shortlisted.

- Candidates must have passed the 10 + 2 pattern of education in any recognized board of education with a minimum aggregate of 55 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Candidates must have studied English as a compulsory subject in the qualifying examination.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates must appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
- There is no entrance examination from the University for B.Tech admission. Candidates are selected only on the basis of merit or rank secured in the JEE.
- Diploma candidates can apply for B.Tech lateral entry for which Candidates must have appeared and cleared the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIP)
