Established in 2006, Guwahati College of Architecture (GCA) is situated in Guwahati, Assam and is affiliated to Assam Science and Technology University. Founded by Dona Foundation in collaboration with Kamala Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environment Studies, Mumbai and CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Guwahati College of Architecture is approved by Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi as well as Higher and Technical Education, Government of Assam.

GCA offers full-time Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) of five years duration to the candidates who have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board of education or two/ three year government recognized Diploma with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Admission to GCA is based on both the scores obtained in NATA and in the qualifying examination.

At the postgraduate level, GCA offers two-year full-time Master of Architecture (M.Arch) in Urban Design and Master of Planning (Urban and Regional Planning). Candidates should have scored minimum 50% marks in B.Arch for admission to PG courses.
Admission to these courses is based on the candidate’s performance in Common Aptitude Test (CAT) conducted by GCA as well as marks scored in the qualifying examination.

Smt. Saratbala Das “Akansha/ Akshayakeerti”: Scholarship for Boys/ Girls willing to study Architecture in GCA (from Financially Weaker Background). Under this Scheme, the financial assistance to undergraduate students shall be provided as follows:

Eligibility Criteria:
If the number of students goes beyond 40% (or as per management suggestion) of the overall student strength of GCA, the financial assistance will be given on the basis of prioritization of the students. In case of prioritization, students whose parental income is the lowest will get the priority.
Shri. Sarbeswar Das “Gyanratna”: Scholarship for Academically Brilliant Students willing to study Architecture in GCA (Excellent Academic Background). Under this Scholarship Scheme, eligible students shall be provided concession as follows:

students from any semester winning any of the Top Three Prizes in National Level Competitions.
Polly Barua Saikia Memorial Scholarship: Merit based scholarship, this given to one girl and one boy, who have topped in their third year (5th and 6th semester combined)
Earn While You Learn: For students of GCA from 3rd Year onwards
Sarvodaya: This scholarship is for the academically brilliant students who are willing to pursue M. Arch and M. Plan in GCA. Under this Scholarship Scheme, eligible students shall be provided as follows:
