Fellow Programme in Management [FPM] From MICA Ahmedabad, Ahmedabad

Latest Update: MICA FPM result 2024 will be released on April 29, 2024. 

MICA FPM-C (Fellow Program in Management in Communications) is a 4-Year, Doctoral Level Program. Candidates with a Master’s Degree with valid GRE/ FPM scores are eligible to apply for the program.

MICA FPM Students receive a Stipend of INR 38,000 per month for the 1st and 2nd year and INR 41,000 for the 3rd & 4th year. MICA FPM Admission is ongoing and the last date to apply is March 22. 2024.

MICA FPM Selection Criteria 2024

• UGC / AIU / AICTE approved Post Graduate / Master’s Degree / 5-Year Integrated Master’s Degree or equivalent with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the Management / Communications / Humanities or Social Sciences OR
• Students in their Final Year of Examination
• 2 Letter of Recommendations
• Statement of Purpose (SOP).

Foreign Nationals and NRIs with Non-Indian degrees that are considered equivalent (by UGC / AIU / AICTE) to the qualifications listed with GRE above are also eligible to apply for the program. 

MICA FPM Admission Process 2024

MICA FPM Admission is based on performance in FPM Admission Test, Consistent Academic Performance from 10+2 onwards and Professional Work / Research Experience in Media and Communication. FPM Admission Process is as follows:

Step 1: Telephonic Interview

Candidates who are eligible for FPM have to appear for the Telephonic Interview Round.

Step 2: MICA’s FPM Admission Test

Candidates who are Shortlisted in Telephonic Interview are required to appear for FPM Admission Test. The test is a 3-day process organized at the MICA campus, which includes: 

1. Written Test - The written test examines Candidate’s (Communication) Theoretical Understanding, Ability to Investigate a Communication Phenomenon and ability to Interpret Data and Draw conclusions.

It is a descriptive test and is based on prescribed readings. 

Candidates shortlisted after the telephonic interviews will be informed through email. 

They are required to bring copies of the readings to the WT as it is an open-book exam

1. Individual Presentation (IP) - Candidates are required to present their topic based on submitted Research Proposal. Candidates will be given 15 minutes to present to a panel of experts. Candidates are required to make PowerPoint (PPT) presentations.
2. Personal Interview (PI) - A panel of experts will assess a candidate's personality and passion for research during the PI Round.

MICA FPM Admission: How to Apply?

MICA FPM Applications are filled online on the official website on or before March 22, 2024. To fill the application form for FPM, check the steps below:

1. Visit the official Website i.e. www.mica.ac.in.
2. Click on the admission link
3. Register by using your email id and password
4. Login after the confirmation of email
5. Enter the details asked in application form
6. Upload the signature and photograph in jpeg format
7. Image size should not be more than 50 kb
8. Save the application form
9. Pay the application fee by either of the available mode
10. Take the print out of the application form for future reference.

• Copies of Transcripts of 10th, 12th, Graduation, Post Graduation (all Years / Semesters), M. Phil. (if applicable)
• NET/JRF (if applicable)
• Abstracts or Summaries of any Published or Unpublished Research Work (if applicable)
